FFA's are the resources that look the most like the Internet in the early days of the public access to the net. They are the most free from any trace of
big corporate advertising. When you actually look through FFA's, you find a true cross-section
of people trying to get attention for their products or ideas.
It's actually sad to see the current state of affairs in the public appreciation of the
Free for All page. Really, if you look at it, they are a major aspect of Internet technology that
many can use for whatever purpose they want. They represent a core aspect of what the Internet
is about, freedom of speech. It's true that MySpace pages contain their own type of free for all, except
that most MySpace users rightly don't want people to spam their page. FFA owners should want people
to "spam" free for all pages. They should allow one post of one URL per day per user. Some actually
police that and Google or Yahoo shouldn't penalize web page users for posting to these kinds of pages.
But it seems at least Yahoo does. Yahoo has largely become a "negative" or neutral merit corporation.
That is, they didn't offer the same good service or "merit" that google has offered and hence they
took a big hit. What great free services are Yahoo offering that draw people to them today?
We are talking about Yahoo because they are the one search engine that penalized people the most for posting
on Free for All pages. That's right, if you put your URL on FFA's there is a chance it will jeopardize
your listing in the search engines. For this purpose, we only put mirror pages on FFA's. That is, you
can get a free website and copy your website pages on there, and put those on FFA's and you should be OK.
For this reason, the general negative image of FFA's, we are not linking this page to our other pages
for Free Internet marketing.
The sites that we recommend are very similar and verifiable in what they offer. You create a free FFA page
on their site which quickly fills up with tens of thousands of ads. This means that you get a "permanent" action by doing only about five minutes
of work, but you really must still somehow promote it.
I recommend having at least five free e-mail accounts for these free marketing services. Yahoo, Gmail
(Google), Lycos and Hotmail are by far the best.

FFAnet.com -- This is the best type as it allows you to add your own banner and the page
automatically sends out confirmation e-mails to those who post their link on your site. You
can put with your announcement or advertisement in the e-mail title.

Smallbiz FFA . This one displays the diversity of the interesting processes and scripts that one witnessses.
EasyFFA
This one allows your ad on their main home page.
This is another FFA page
that gives you your own page. It has some pop-ups which probably won't show up with a pop-up stopper.
MyeBizPageoffers free message boards, FFA's, and classified ad pages for you to promote
your concepts. Check out the link "Show All Messages" in the FFA section. This is a
unique concept in FFA's.

A Few Other Ideas
One Line Ads
This company shows one of the many unique marketing concepts one can find out there.
Kiosk They offer 10 meg free website that seem to have some FFA type capabilities.
Exactpages.com They offer a 100 meg free website space.
Tripod, Geocities (who are a Yahoo company) and others still offer free web space. You should never have only have one copy of
web page information on a free web hosting service, because they have known to go out of business and then
you will lose your design and information. You need to learn
to know how to back it up on your hard drive and then on a disk or CD. Just go to each page and then to the file
menu and Select "Save As."
Sites that have gone down.
This site, Megaresponse, gives you a nice login account
from which you can send to multiple FFA's at once.

Adsplit Network
This one has several "blasters" that put your ad on FFA pages.
Linkstation. This one has a great FFA submission page but
does not actually give you your own page. (Note: it seems to not do anything now).
